There will be two sessions for married couples on Saturday evening, February 25th. Sunday morning, Dr. Jim Newheiser will preach on the relationship between family and the Church. Following the morning worship service, two Life Groups will be offered -- "Being Single in an Anxious World" and "Raising Children in an Anxious World
Dr. Jim Newheiser, Jr., is the Director of the Christian Counseling Program and Associate Professor of Christian Counseling and Practical Theology at RTS Charlotte. For 25 years, Dr. Newheiser served as the Preaching Pastor at Grace Bible Church in Escondido, California. He is also the Director of the Institute for Biblical Counseling and Discipleship (formerly CCEF West) and an Adjunct Professor of Biblical Counseling at The Master’s College. Furthermore, Dr. Newheiser serves as a board member at both the Biblical Counseling Coalition (BCC) and the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). Dr. Newheiser has authored a number of books and his most recent publication Marriage, Divorce, and Remarriage: Critical Questions and Answers was recently voted ACBC's Counseling Book of the Year.
Mr. Nate Brooks serves as the Coordinator for Christian Counseling at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC.
