It is God Himself who calls His people to worship.
We come praising him, confessing our sins and the one true faith.

Congregation: Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.

Leader: Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting!

All: And let all the people say, "Amen!" Praise the LORD!

*Reading of the Law   Exodus 20:2-17

"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. "You shall have no other gods before me. "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth…."You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain,... "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy...  "Honor your father and your mother,... "You shall not murder. "You shall not commit adultery. "You shall not steal. "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. "You shall not covet...anything that is your neighbor's."

Prayer of Confession and Assurance of Pardon

Leader: Hear us O God, most holy and most merciful, as we pray quietly then confessing and repenting together by singing our prayer,

A Quiet Prayer: Out of the depths of my own sinful heart I cry to you, O LORD! O Lord, hear my cries for your mercy, let your ears be attentive to my need for your grace. I have sinned in my inmost thoughts, words and deeds. If you kept a record of all my wrongs I could not stand. But in the name of Jesus Christ there is forgiveness. Remember me not for my sins, but remember me for the sake of his person and merits. O Lord, hear my cries for mercy and be gracious.

Congregation: Pass Me Not

Leader: To all who are trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, hear these words of His pardoning grace: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. - 1 Peter 1:3-5
